The Coordinator: Terra Humana Clean Technology Development, Engineering
and Manufacturing Ltd., Hungary
Contact: Mr. Edward Someus E-mail: edward[at]terrenum.net and edward.someus[at]gmail.com
Terra
Humana Ltd. has been established in 1989, as Swedish-Hungarian
joint
venture between the Swedish environmental engineer Edward Someus and Lang Machine Works (since 1868 as
Central
Europe's largest industrial boiler manufacturing organization, which
by year 2000 made fusion with the multinational Asea- Brown-Boveri
and Alstom Power). The international SME organization company
mission was all the time to develop, engineering design and
manufacture of novel clean technologies on a European level for
renewable energy, waste recycling, industrial and agricultural
environmental protection solutions with core competence of coal and
carbon for industry and agriculture. During the past two decades the
company put in huge human and financial efforts to develop innovative
eco-industrial advanced solutions, design, implement and tests
“product like” pilot plants to meet market demands in large
Western European countries. Extensive scientific and industrial
networks developed in 13 EU countries with large number RTD partners,
Universities, large institutions, SME and large industrial
organizations, especially in The Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy
and Spain. In practice 100% of the company outputs targeting Western
European and North American markets, due to that there is low or no
any payable markets for modern eco industrial solution in Hungary,
and the national support to bridge the gap between RTD and
commercialisation is practically not available in Hungary. The
company is coordinator and key technology developer/designer for
large scale EU RTD programmes and numerous large scale projects. The
company is having advanced and well equipped research, laboratory and
test facilities in West Hungary.

Plant
Research International (PRI) is a private not for profit
research
institute with more than 600 experienced
and highly motivated personnel, and part of Wageningen University and
Research Center. By integrating knowledge on crop protection, crop
ecology, agricultural systems, genetics and reproduction, PRI offers
a host of fresh perspectives to industry and public institutions,
agriculture, horticulture, and agro-ecosystems linked to landscape
and nature development. The research cluster ’Microbial Ecology’ within PRI is performing research into all microbiological aspects of soils, substrates and rhizospheres of key crop plants. One of the goals is to develop measures to reduce pathogen threat. The
Plant Protection and Soil Conservation Directorate
of the Agricultural Office of county Fejér The
Plant Protection and Soil Conservation Directorate of the
Agricultural Office of county Fejér has its widest authority
responsibility in the various fields of the national plant protection
and soil conservation service: plant protection, plant health, soil
conservation, agri-environment management, authorisation of PPPs and
yield enhancing substances, GIS, provision of plant protection
services. The main responsibility is to ensure conservation of land
and to improve the country's plant health status and to provide
services for the growers. The Plant Protection Laboratory is carry
out efficacy trials with PPPs, regulators and growing mediums prior
to grant authorisation, under laboratory, glasshouse and field
conditions.

Etudes
Chimiques et Physiques S.a.r.l. (ECP) is a 10-years old, small,
private, and totally independent R&D company. ECP executes
research contracts and purchase orders related to almost all domains
of Chemistry and Physics. The company focuses however on applications
of its own high-voltage plasma devices (GlidArc) to remove pollutants
(like H2S) from industrial exhausts as well as to convert wastes
gases (like poor biogas), waste vapours (like bone gas) and waste
liquids (like glycerol) into valuable products, like Hydrogen +
Carbon Monoxide (syngas) or a fuel gas to produce electric energy.
ECP possesses its own land, building, and all necessary equipment as
well as metrology instruments. Its site is located in the Region
Centre in France. The company has more than 20 patents and sells
