Humana Ltd. SME has been established in 1989 as Swedish -
Hungarian joint venture company, whereas the Swedish part has
been represented by the Swedish environmental scientist Edward
Someus. The business activity of the company is development,
engineering and manufacturing of advanced environmental
technologies and equipment components for agricultural and soil
treatment applications, such as manufacturing of activated carbon
adsorbents form agricultural refuses, biological remediation of
contaminated soils, recultivation of degraded industrial and
agricultural land. The company is the leading international edge
for high temperature carbonization and surface modification
technology methods and apparatus, including all auxiliary
equipments for comprehensive installations, with special concern
to recycling and upgrading of agricultural biomass. Terra is
leading international technological edge in the process and
manufacturing engineering of the following: indirectly heated
rotary kiln for high temperature carbonization of biomass,
carbon heat exchangers, air selectors, off-gas treatment
equipments, high temperature combustion units, biotechnological
fermentation process equipments and auxiliary equipments,
including liquid and gaseous effluent treatment systems
The
Terra Humana Ltd. personnel is ten senior and experienced
environmental, agricultural and biotechnology process engineering
experts, for execution of development, engineering, (ISO 9001 and
ISO 14001) quality control, project management and installation -
operation of applied industrial equipments. The manufacturing of
equipment is outsourced to qualified subcontractors under strict
general control of Terra. Terra is owner of a research,
demonstration and production industrial site for recycling and
upgrading of agricultural by-products into added value fine
carbon products. The thermal treatment industrial facility is
located in West Hungary and it is permitted for manufacturing and
regeneration of activated carbons, surface modification and
impregnation of fine carbons. TERRA and Edward Someus are
combining the necessary scientific, technical, managerial and
organizational skills to successfully manage the project. These
qualifications and skills are as follows:Being the leading
